The University of Kansas Hockey team competes in Division 2 of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.

To be eligible to play, team members must be enrolled at the University of Kansas as either undergraduate students in nine hours or more and in good standing (maintaining a 2.0 or higher g.p.a.) or graduate students enrolled in six or more hours and in good standing.

The team is supported in part by the University but players pay dues to defer the costs related to competing with the team. Dues pay for practice and game times and help pay for travel expenses including transportation and hotels. The team will provide game jerseys and socks to players. All other equipment including team color helmets, gloves and shells or breezers are the responsibility of the players.

You should also visit the KU admissions page and apply to the University as early as possible and notify the team when you have been admitted to KU.
